These pancakes were pretty standard. The batter was fairly thin, so I tried to make shapes with it. This one is a cat/squirrel/raccoon thing. (The picture also contains a totally accidental hidden Mickey).
To make the syrup, I boiled honey then added cinnamon and sesame seeds.
Beautiful! They tasted like pancakes with honey. Nothing too special.
The only trouble is finding enough people to eat them all, especially when I cook at odd hours. I might have to start making friends with the neighbors.
I packed up the rest of these and am going to distribute them to people for breakfast tomorrow!
