Fun fact: the Dutch word for waffle is wafel.
(A stroopwafel is a type of Dutch waffle that is thin and has caramel in the middle and is the most delicious thing in the world. These were not stroopwafels, but they were still ok)
When I first opened up the waffle iron I thought one had magically disappeared.
It was just hiding on top. Time to grease the iron again?Stef devotes even more time to studying than I do to making waffles!
They were great with syrup. A classic waffle recipe.
